Tween 40

Tween 40, the scientific name of which is polyoxyethylene sorbitan monopalmitate, also known as T - 40 emulsifier, is yellow to amber oily liquid or paste. Soluble in water, methanol, ethanol, ethylene glycol, cottonseed oil, etc. It is an oil/water emulsifier, used as stabilizer, solubilizer, dispersant, antistatic agent, fiber lubricant, etc.

Application:

 

It can be used as oil/water emulsifier, as well as as solubilizer, stabilizer, dispersant, antistatic agent and fiber lubricant, with wetting, foaming and diffusion properties. This kind of surfactant is non-toxic and can be used as emulsifier in food and cosmetics, as well as emulsifier, softener and lubricant in synthetic fiber oil.
