Without odor and poison. Stimulative to the skin and the respiratory tract. Soluble in chloroform acetone, methylene chloride, benzene; not easily soluble in carbon tetrachloride, ethyl acetate; insoluble in water and gasoline.

Application:
Rubber Accelerator TMTD can be used as a single accelerator, as a secondary accelerator or as a sulfur donor in most sulfur-cured elastomers.

Rubber Accelerator TMTD is a valuable secondary accelerator for EPDM. In the vulcanization of polychloroprene rubber with N,N'-ethylene thiourea, Rubber Accelerator TMTD may be used as a retarder.
